It’s a frequent thing we hear: I belong to that ministry, I like this person, I like my Church. It may not be wrong to say that because we all like to belong somewhere and God made us to be social beings. As mature Christians, we could listen to what the Bible says and put our sense of belonging in Christ alone. In Christ, there is no distinction between, rich or poor, tall or short, old or young, white or black. Everyone is equal and belongs to him. What an honor it is belong to the creator of our universe.

    Hiya, interesting post.

I was wondering why if there is no distinction and everyone is equal, why a supposedly omni-benevolent got that is omnipotent allows 35,000 children under the age of 5 to die from starvation every day, a horrible way to go.

If the excuse is ‘free will’, why is it that your god removes the chance for these poor kids from having the same free will and experiences that others do? If this god is omnipotent, surely then it is able to create a universe where we have free will, without suffering.

Question is if that’s the result of a good God or the bad devil. Our good God is not responsible for sin and its destructive outcome. That’s why Jesus died so we can get back to the good God and make a difference on earth.

It’s not wrong to say you like your church or you like
someone in your church but if that’s the main reason why you want to go to
church then that makes it wrong.
